With only 15 minutes on the clock, it was make it or break it time.  It was  Miss  Alina Garciamendez’s equalizer  in the second half  that sealed the deal.  Nigeria often had possession of the ball , but failed to take advantage of vital opportunities. At 16′ came the first goal of this match when Nigeria’s Ebere Orji nailed a rebound. Things were getting tricky, at halftime Charlyn Corral one of the best on the team (Mex) was substituted by Natalia Gómez Junco.

Later Nigeria would come dangerously close to a second goal, exhaustion and all  Mexican goalie, Santiago pushed the limits of her body and abilities to shut down said would be goal. However, that almost second goal was not the only worry for team Mexico, news that  Japan was beating England meant that the probability of them being eliminated was looming. With agile control of the ball, guard up, and  registering all angles,  team Mexico’s Alina Garciamendez showed everyone that team Mex was hungry and did not want to go home.  The game was called by official Cristina Petersen, team Mexico lead by coach is  Roberto MEDINA. Mexico earned 1st place in its group with 5 points and more goals than second place Nigeria who also earned 5 points, in third was  Japan who had 4 points,  and England came in with 1 pt. Mexicans: With talent to spare

Wow just wow! Is all I can say about this collection. Hope you enjoy these gorgeous, luxurious, indulgent designs by Mr. Alberto Rodriguez. Such a shame that the sound was disabled for this video, what’s a fashion show without a soundtrack of course, but sound or no sound these creations blow me away.

Next time someone tries to tear you or our people down by saying that Mexicans don’t have: the talent, brains,  the drive or dedication , just look to people like these wonderful talents that not only gained entrance to such an important institute, but are there as leaders. Yet another fine example of “SI SE PUEDE”

P.S. Speaking of “SI SE PUEDE” check out this awesome article by lauramartinez.wordpress.com entitled “FORGET ARIZONA. MEXICO GETS OWN NASA YAY!”
